This did not work for me as I was trying to do this for a Z420 HP server. What worked was finding the storage driver on HP's website, Installing that to a folder on my working computer and then copying that folder to the pend drive and then installing it the same way as above. This gave me a lead as to where to look so thanks bud.

HELLO. YOU MUST BE FRUSTRATED AS I WAS. I ALSO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM I FIXED by opening my laptop to check if the HARD DRIVE was properly inserted only to find out it was NOT. SO I PROPERLY INSERTED THEN BOOM😆!!! IT WORKED. HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU TOO.

Good info though, Another workaround is when using bootable USB to install OS, plug in the USB into 3.0 port and not old-school 2.0 port. By doing so you will never have this issue 😊
