My sincere condolences Rob, I was hoping you would find an easy simple fix. If that motor was a classroom engine and teenagers were working on it, … I would definitely do the switch. I remember some of the clowns working on classroom engines in high school. They would think it was funny intentionally over/under tightening bolts or anything else to sabotage a good motor. We had to start up and run the motor, but you never knew if someone had done a rat attack on you.
