MASSIVE Revenant Changes Just Hit (Update 8.1.0) | Destiny 2

This week we have the launch of Episode: Revenant which comes with Update 8.1.0. Alongside some UI changes, and a slew of issue fixes, we got some major sandbox changes.

bad juju's "spookiness" is a hidden perk that causes explosions on some kills. before this used to trigger every 50-100 kills. now it triggers around every 5. damage on it isnt half bad either. definitely going to be a good option now.

Being able to go to the vault from the character screen is one of the best qol changes since loadouts

I’m completely shocked bungie raised the transmog cap to 18 and lowered the price of the eververse set back to 15$.

I get that originally they didn't want it to be OP, but champion stunning has been so blown open since Witch Queen that something like Eriana's Vow or any other anti-champion exotic being able to stun another champion or two with the help of an artifact mod would literally not contribute to power creep whatsoever.

Like, we've had multiple legendary weapons that can handle all three forms of champions in the game for years. Most exotic weapons aren't even as good as the majority of legendary weapons, and the ones that are typically aren't ahead by an insane amount, or don't even have intrinsic champion stunning, so it really shouldn't be a problem anymore.

I believe anti-champion exotics not being able to tap into artifact mods for champion stunning is just an archaic feature that hasn't been phased out yet.

Sad to say, wicked implement doesnt get anti barrier scout to it. Doesnt get the icon even. Such a shame because i really wanted it to work lol but i guess its the same reason erianas vow cant get other champ mods to it.

@4:00 its quite unfortunate they took away the ability to get to the director from the inventory menu simply by hitting the double windows button on xbox. Now i have to wait 3 seconds to get there instead of instantly

The QoL changes to opening playlists directly during an activity is quite good.

World of Tanks has a Killcam. Clearly its not copyrighted. The name might be, but that is easy to change.

Call of Duty has no patent on all kill cams because Halo 4 had one, Titanfall I think had one and a few other games I’ve played. Call of Duty’s specific process may be patented but it can still be done

There's another issue where the Wicked Implement scout rifle is not acting as anti barrier in game. It shows it is anti barrier in the character screen when I equip the artifact mod but doesn't actually work while I was using it. My friend also had this problem.

Anybody else notice that in the new Helm area if you go to the front windows they didn't even bother putting textures back there? You can literally see that it's just a huge black box they placed the room in. They didn't think ANYBODY would be curious to check through the broken window?

I’m sorry but Ballidorse’s new Super Energy refund buff is so dumb cause you can’t benefit off of it if playing an activity solo. It should’ve been “Kills with Winter’s Wrath refunds Super Energy.”
