Quick story....when I was 14 or so in England The Song Remains the Same movie had just come out in the 1970s. It was being shown at a cinema in Newquay. I lived 15 miles away in Padstow. I cycled up and down cliffs all the way to Newquay to see it. When the movie started it wasn't loud enough so I ran out to ask the manager to turn up the volume which he did. This was my first live concert and seeing led zep for the first time. I was completely blown away especially Stairway to Heaven solo by Jimmy Page. Totally awesome.

Let me just speak from the heart for a moment: This guy…… This guy right here….. he had a plan. A master plan. And he executed it fully. He rehearsed in his bedroom for years to be able to play at this level. And on that fateful day this was recorded, he walked right into that music store, he grabbed that $4500 Gibson double neck and he played his heart out while his friend filmed him in all his glory. And just like that, he put that guitar back on the wall and confidently strode out of the store…fully knowing he had no intention whatsoever of buying that guitar and helping a salesman make a little commission. Mission accomplished

I’m 62 first saw them and 75. This is the greatest song of rock ‘n’ roll. I knew it then it would never bested. I’ve heard all versions from Jimmy. Probably all the best covers. I mean out of 365 days in the year. I will probably listen to this song every week at least once forever. but usually when feasting I’ll check out a couple of versions or more. I’d like to get the link to the whole song and this guy needs to collaborate with the band. This guys definitely got some talent. We’re talking best of Brooklyn level pizza good. That’s as good as it gets, of course
