Led Zeppelin Celebration Day -Stairway to Heaven

In 2007, a benefit concert to commemorate the life of music executive Ahmet Ertegun was staged with a reunited Led Zeppelin as the main act. They played several of their most famous songs to an enthusiastic crowd and coordinating a professional recording of the show[2] with 16 cameras,[3] with the prospect of a home video release. Rumors immediately circulated that the recording would become available, but the following year, band member Jimmy Page said that release wasn't certain and that it required mixing and would be a "massive job to embark on."[4] Bassist John Paul Jones agreed that he would like to see it released commercially, but that there was no timeline.[5] Even through 2010, Page was uncertain of the status of the album.[6] On 9 September 2012, the band updated their Facebook page, which led to widespread speculation that the release was finally ready.[7] Details leaked over the following days, with a source telling The Sun on 11 September that the album was due for release later that year[8] and theatre web sites announcing airings of the film slated for the following month.[9]

I am Russian, was born in the Soviet Union and I'm 53 years. The first time I heard Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple in 1974, and I was just shocked that you can play like that. At that time their music was officially banned, but we found these amazing songs where anyone could and repeatedly copied from each other on an old reel tape recorders. A lot has changed in our country, there are many good Russian rock groups, but a fantastic Staiway to Heaven still shakes me to the depths of the soul.

In the end it all comes down to this. The Greatest Song Of All Time! No matter how Percy protests, this above all else is their legacy. Everyone came expecting to hear Stairway. The song that inspired guitarists all over the world to play. The song that takes every heart to a special place. The song we all know from the first note / chord! The music to our lives!

The classic song of all genres. Starts off as a gentle ballad, and ends in a crescendo of rock and roll! Such an amazing bunch of talented musicians, all four. I was 9 when I first heard this song in 1969, the first album I bought was Led Zeppelin 4.
Bought my kids up on Led Zep and the Beatles!

I'm also 73years old and I will not disagree that they are one 1⃣ of the greatest bands in Rock and Roll history and came from an Era that the music 🎶 at least offered some sort of relief from the world-wide craziness of the times and if we're lucky 🍀 they will live on much longer than we do 😊😅😂❤😂😊😂❤😊❤😊❤😊
