My father introduced me to led zeppelin when I was about 6, this was the first song I heard, my father told me this is a song that will never grow old but is a classic piece of music.
I always remember what he told me. My father past away last year and this was the song I said good bye to him. God bless you dad miss you ❤

Led Zeppelin was for the 70's, what the Beatles were for the 60's. Songs like Stairway to heaven and Kashmir are perfect examples of how EPIC Zeppelin was and ALWAYS WILL BE! Greatest rock band of all time period ever! And my personal favorite band of all time. Through the ages in hundreds of years from now kids will say Mom and Dad what was rock 'n roll? They'll say simply "THAT WAS LED ZEPPELIN CHILD."

1971, a junior in high school in North America; imagine: driving in my Dad's 1967 blue Camaro, flipping the a.m. radio stations until Stairway to Heaven came on--any day, young people of my era heard GREAT music from extraordinary artists; all happening at the same time--Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and, Oh, did I mention the Beatles??? etc. etc. etc. many I haven't mentioned yet
