Taking small steps to appear as floating was common in the French Court in the 18th century. Marie Antoinette had to be taught how to do it in fact.

Call me crazy, but I think the secret is that they wear floor length skirts with a wide circumference at the bottom.

It's pretty easy to do if you think about the way Sonic runs or you pedal a bike. Practice walking in a motion like that and don't lift your foot up until the other touches the floor. Eventually you'll get more fluid, I like doing this at shopping centres casually so people will be craning their necks over counters to see what the heck is happening with my feet.

A couple of these dancers are my best friends. I kid you not. They are the sweetest young ladies I have ever met. That said, they refuse to teach me the "floating step". It is only for members of the Ensemble Beryozka to know. It is indeed a secret. I have, however seen a couple videos of them in rehearsal and I pretty much have it figured out anyway😁

I was searching Warhammer 40k lore about The Eldar Race and it's movements being "Uncanny"...
How in the world I ended up here is a mystery to me.. Really cool effect on those dance moves though, Ghostly

So they were sworn to secrecy but now you show it to the world. Does that make sense?

they may tell that they use tiptoed steps...but the question is...how did they do it? or is there any technique to make it easier without sacrificing the quality of the performance?

It's actually not too hard but to do it to the level they do Def takes a ton of practice. You want to focus on not moving your hips or torso at a and take very small and delicate steps

Supportive, specially designed footwear and lots of practice. Same in any dance or movement activity.

I’m pretty sure they use hoverboards
If not, then it’s this one technique where you’d have to walk in extremely rapid, tiny steps without making a move to your hips, a any up and down movement whatsoever. Extremely difficult. Not impossible 🤔
And yes it would take years of training, you would have to be a certain weight too. You’d mainly use your feet muscles and calfs.
