Could you not of wired a 3 core and earth,
And wire Live supply of the boiler terminal to the live terminal of the receiver then linked L and 1 together in receiver Then from 3 of the receiver to the switch live return
To boiler?

I’ve spent hours today trying to wire received up to my Viessmann Vitodens. On the boiler, when using 5 core like you are here, where does the black wire go?.

Hi again. I currently have a WB 4000 to a ESRTP4+. I want to install a hive single channel instead.
On the ESRTP4+ it uses the number 2 connector. Would this be a case of moving that to number 3 connector on the hive?

What about the wiring on the other side as the hub has to be wired into the boiler
