Been in this situation at uni. Some guy was following me home, and I ran up to a group of sorority girls because I felt scared when he started picking up pace. They immediately acted like the girl in purple. They pretended that I was in their group, one of them pretended to be on a phone call with her "boyfriend" to scare the creep off, they kept hugging me, rubbing my back and I was shaking and in tears. It was so scary and I'm glad that these types of girls are out there ready to help their fellow girlies <333 Makes me feel so much safer

I remember how I met my friend, it was like this. As the usual whenever I get home from work, I'd ride the bus at night, but at one time, a girl suddenly straight up sat beside me and said "Heyyy how was work??" as if she knew me, I noticed how she was very nervous and her eyes was like telling me to go along with it and my instincts suddenly got the atmosphere, so I did. I then told her that 'we might go to a restaurant first before going home' making sure anybody listening will hear that I live with her. After a long 2hours of uncomforting atmosphere while I was trying my best to talk to her as if we were close, we agreed to stop on a nearby convenience store. Apparently a guy was following her even to the bus and he sat behind our backs. She instinctively sat beside me cause I was that typical large built guy. Since we almost had the same stop from work, at night we'd always meet on the stop, until she finally moved from a different state. We are still close till now :)

I know this situation is terrifying for girls and guys, here a tip, when someone is stalking you and tries to get closer or hold you and nobody is near to help you, act disgusting, crazy, anything that make them lose the interest, scream like an animal, even if is necessary pee. Is sad that I need to tell you this, but even if you act like you are friends with someone or act like you are in the phone, there's creepy people who won't stop, , , , one time I needed to start barking at a old man that refuse to leave me alone. It might sound funny but it wasn't, it was my only alternative.

I've done that before. It's horrible knowing that someone is following you. I was saved by an old couple who pretended to be my uncles and they even make sure I arrived safely with my parents. I will never be thankful enough. I can't even imagine what would had happen if they weren't there at that time.

I lived in Seoul for 3 years. I've literally been followed from my a few blocks away from my apartment all the way down to the subway-- a 15 minute walk through crowded downtown Hongdae. This guy literally paced a circle around me at the stop light before deciding to follow me. The most terrifying experience of my life.
