Your theory is spot on mostly, except what happens to the kids like Lauren. Most people believe that they vanish into Amanda's cartoon world, as pieces of meat or other objects with eyes. At first I thought it wasn't weird since Dora had similar things, but then with the Meat Shop ending, I realized that when we became a piece of meat, that's what happened to everyone that wanted to "help" Amanda, including us

I think the demonic phrases and names of demons were used to turn Rebecca into Amanda, by placing her into the cartoon world. Since she was the first, she likely had some control and enough to gain consciousness at certain bouts and pull others into the realm. Furthermore, Wooly might be acting all nice and like a good soul, but Wooly is a sheep. And one of the demons, Baa-yell or Belial is represented by the sheep. He keeps trying to pull Amanda/Rebecca out of consciousness and back into a curse-induced trance, which is further personified by the secret white tape's contents. Wooly is definitely a hidden antagonist and a measure to keep Amanda/Rebecca trapped, Sam is likely dead and Hameln is behind everything.

This playthrough is insanely good. Not only is Rico super funny and entertaining he’s actually putting in the work to understand and do the game justice. He’s getting SO MANY secret tapes, compared to others who didn’t even try and do that. Love this vid man 🙌🏼

My theory: Sam (the creator and Amanda’s father) made the live action show which starred his daughter, Rebecca, to be Amanda. Then, Hameln saw and decided to make it global by using animation. To do so, they made her sign some contract which would I guess be very sketchy because her parent isn’t in the room and they know they can get away with it if it’s just Amanda reading and signing. When she started speaking the demonic words (I assume to be calling demons), she makes contact with them through the headphones. That is why Rebecca/Amanda is stuck in the show whereas a demon has possessed her body and hunted you down in one of the endings.

Kate (our aunt) was very passionate about the live action of Amanda and that’s why she kept talking about it at every story telling event or whatever (as said in the talk show). She was involved and also realized the shady stuff that Hameln pulled so she tried to save Rebecca when she realized that Rebecca was stuck in the tapes. However, she died (maybe to Hameln or the demon) and she needed us to save her. That’s why our aunt Kate gave us the home and letter (which says that we gotta watch the tapes) at the beginning.

Also, with Wooly, he always tries to get in Rebecca’s way whenever she remembers what happened to her, Kate, and Sam. Wooly tries to continue the adventure like normal anytime she remembers. For example. when you input “Sam” as the answer to the question “What is the daddy chicken called?” Wooly is surprised that you know and scared (as he knows what happened to her) because it helps Rebecca remember and it messes everything up. I think that Hameln put Wooly there to stop Rebecca/Amanda from escaping.

However, when Rebecca/Amanda does remember, her mood affects the show. Like when she’s angry, the whole TV just starts going crazy. Interesting, isn’t it? Amanda is seemingly the monster, but in reality, she’s the victim.

I've been obsessed with Amanda The Adventurer so i've seen hella playthroughs. honestly this has been the best one. Like you were engaging, you actually being scared but committed to solve everything is the entertaining af, and you just have a great pacing editing wise, like the hour and a half wasn't a drag at all. take all the time you need and keep going! Rico is soooo REAL for this, I watched others play this and they did well too but Rico really went all out and figured out alot ON HIS OWN & throughly played all the endings & secrets (despite the little missing parts he researched), he is so intelligent!!… Definitely a great gameplay and I’m just happy to see he uploaded something… Plus it’s a long video, so this is great. Hey Rico, take all the time you need to cope. Don't feel compelled to push yourself with a schedule that doesn't work for you. I see nothing wrong with doing things sporadically on a whim. I personally have never been the type to stick with one thing repeatedly and used to get burnout from trying to fit the "standard ideal" of constant content creation. At the end of the day, do what makes you the most satisfied. You're not disappointing anyone so I hope you never feel guilty about living your life.

The way I SCREAMED when I saw you uploaded and immediately told my sister. I’m so sorry about your loss but we understand. The loss of family is hard. I N lost my dad a year ago, and I’ve been learning grief is like a roller coaster. Some days I’m completely fine and some days I’m completely disassociated, falling apart, crying etc. so I will always be grateful for when ever you upload because I know it isn’t easy!
