Samsung Stackable Smart Washer & Dryer - Tech Demo from Best Buy

What makes this pair stand out? They work side by side or stacked, whichever is more convenient for your space—and together they function as a laundry tag team. They communicate with one another through¹ the Samsung SmartThings App, which means, for instance, the washer can tell the dryer what to do—how long and at what temperature to dry—based on the wash cycle. If you decide to stack the washer/dryer, you can easily connect them with the Multi-Control Kit (sold separately) which lets you operate the dryer from the washer, right at fingertip level, instead of way up there at the tippy top.

But wait, there’s more! More cool features like AI-powered Smart Dials on both the washer and dryer, which learn your favorite wash and dry cycles and recommend them first. There’s also a ginormous detergent drawer which lets you add enough soap and softener for 20 loads at once, saving you valuable minutes on laundry day. (The washer then dispenses just the right amount of suds and softener.) And, thanks to a special feature called OptiWash™, the washer will add more soap or extend washing time when it senses heavier than normal soil levels.

Finally, if you’re in a hurry, the Samsung Smart Washer and Dryer will step on it for you. The Super Speed Cycle washes a full load² in 28 minutes and dries in 30. So, within ONE hour, you’ve got clean clothes. Double-teamed clean clothes.

I bought a LG washer from BEST Buy about 6 months ago. It has plastic water connections in the back of the washer and now it spews water everywhere. Disappointed. Having to call a repair man to replace it, if the affected piece can be replaced.

I bought a Samsung top loader many years ago and I believe it was from Best Buy. Was the worst washing machine I've ever had. Waste of money. Never fully loaded with water so I had to haul 5 gallon buckets of water from the sink to the machine just to get my clothes washed. That was using the maximum water level setting. It lasted about 3 years and finally broke. A buddy of mine who buys/cleans out storage units came by with his truck and took it to the metal scrap yard, he made some money on the steel. Samsung maybe makes good cell phones but I'd never buy another appliance from then again.
