THIS IS TOUGH! Should You BUY The PS5 PRO or PC? (HONEST THOUGHTS)

Today Playstation officially announced the PS5 Pro and today's video hours later I have some honest thoughts about if it is a hard pass.

What's crazy is that i prefer gaming on my consoles more than my $2000+ PC. I've been saying this for the last 8 years, but people always said i was crazy. Of course, PC looks better in every way, but consoles are convenient and comfortable. I don't have to tweak anything, and i can lay back in my recyliner on a 77-inch lg oled.

Let me explain this for y'all, stop wasting money on consoles. Pay the big entry price once for a great pc, then just upgrade your gpu here and there. You'll be ahead of the game. Rtx cards lead the way in upsacling and ray tracing. PSSR won't be better, you can mod games on pc, play games anywhere on any device without using your pc or ps5 to stream from. No online fees, games are way way cheaper, games have more sales and bundle deals, you decide if you wanna compromise fps or graphics, way more games to play, better tech support, easy refunds, refund games if not played for 2 to 4 hours, gamepass and geforce now integration, you'll get all playstation games with full dlc and bonuses, without paying extra for the dlc, customize everything, dashboard, homescreen, everything you decide the look, can do more than game, edit things, type, shop, Facebook Instagram etc, use any controller you want for any game.

My opinion stick with the ps5, then wait until ps6. I never ever bought a console pro.

Optimization is a large reason consoles run more smooth, less heat and are quiet. If you go pc just be ready to spend a lot of time tweaking settings, updating and troubleshooting issues. Windows is full of bugs and that is why it updates weekly. Built my first gaming pc in the 90s and have a new one now. It gets noisy and puts out a lot of heat compared to ps5. Ps5 has few settings and doesn’t take up my time. It is probably best for most gamers.

DF did say the 4070 is somewhat equivalent due to the ray tracing and dlss… but the actual 4070 is overkill in actual raw performance compared to the ps5 pro.

For the Price of the PC 5 Pro, you will only get an entry level, budget PC. It will game but it won't be "PC GOD tier" status LOL. On another note. The OG PS5 is dropping in price when the Pro releases. The OG is solid. That's why way I'd go if I were on the fence.

I already have a high spec gaming PC which I love. I only have consoles to play games with my friends who own them as well. PS5 pro is definitely for me because it gives me the closest to PC fidelity and performance from a console

As someone that pays the power bill in the house....One more thing to consider is power consumption and heat generation on pimped out PCs. I have both but prefer to game on PS5 or Switch.

How does a new product that is optional make someone say "I should just get a PC at this point?
It's optional, it's not taking away from your current ps5 or the base model on offer.
However if you're in the market for more power and have the funds the get a PC. If you don't see the benefits of having a strictly gaming device, or exclusive console titles then the choice is made.
Like being mad at PC because a 4060 and a 4090 exist in the same generation is crazy.

PS5 Pro hooked up to your OLED, and Speaker setup will be a way better experience than a “$700” PC with no OLED or Speaker system. Because one thing everyone is forgetting about is that there is no way in hell you’re paying $700 for a PC/Monitor/ Speaker system that offers anything even close to what the PRO offers all these guys making comparisons completely forget to include a monitor in their setup. If you’re going to cheap out on the thing that DISPLAYS the image you’ve completely missed the whole point of video games.

OG PS5 over here moving to PC in next few years: Can't wait to see the PC comparison to the PS6 when specs finally release. I'm leaning towards PC investment for the next Gen mostly because i want a PC for more than just gaming like photos/videos, writing, music production. I only have a phone and console. But i have a feeling Sony is going to keep pushing to take PC gamers over to console

No one should buy a dumb pc or a ps5 pro until they put a dice drive on it and lower the price because 700 hundred dollars is to high and paying 2000 dollars for a pc is just dumb just to play video games and no one should pre-order a ps5 pro at all us real games need to take the power away from Sony

Tbh I don't see the point of paying $700+ for the pro when it's only a minor upgrade compared to the OG. No disk drive, no stand and screws over the physical gamer. Just get an OG, it's still beautiful
