Andrew Dice Clay is an American comedian and actor. He rose to fame in the 1980s and 1990s with his stand-up comedy routines, which were characterized by his brash and controversial style, including the use of explicit language and controversial subject matter.

Clay began his career as a stand-up comedian in the late 1970s, performing in clubs and bars in and around New York City. He gained a following with his edgy and confrontational style, and eventually began touring nationally. In 1988, he released his first album, "Dice," which went on to become the first comedy album to be certified platinum.

Clay's fame continued to grow throughout the 1990s, and he became known for his controversial and sometimes offensive material. He was banned from MTV and the HBO network due to his use of explicit language and subject matter, but this only seemed to increase his popularity. Clay has released several more comedy albums, and has also appeared in television shows and movies, including "Blue Jasmine" and "Entourage." Despite criticism for his controversial material, Clay remains a popular and influential figure in the world of stand-up comedy.

One of the best comedic characters ever created. People ACTUALLY thought this was a real person and not an act. That is how you know it was great!

I saw this on HBO when it was first run. I was 13 years old. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen.

He's probably the only comedian (after awhile when people heard the tapes and/or saw his act) where people in the crowd would do his punchlines with him, and go bananas! Seriously, it's amazing! 😂

How did he even get a chance with that corny ass routine? The only thing that was funny about him was after he got finished with his unfunny nonsense they let him walk on another stage and do it again! AWFUL 😞

Christ, he was awful…A bullied Jew pretending to be a bully Italian…Yeah, hilarious dude. Almost as funny as Dane Cook…Anthony Cumia’s impression of Clay is hilarious…
