I worked in a mansion in Mobile Albama in 1973. We served food to the people in the boarding house. We served lunch to the public. And 3 meals per day to the people that lived there. The cooks and servers were all black people. The owner was a very wealthy white lady. She always told the cooks to always make more food so they could feed their family a good evening meal . That was back when black people had to walk in the road not on the sidewalk.
