I have the means to afford one and the dignity not to be treated that way.

I have a relative who is a multimillionaire, she wears a fake Rolex, I asked her why, she replied “would you expect someone in my position to be wearing a fake, no, well neither does anyone in my social circle”.

And that was basically it, she was *expected* to wear an expensive watch, but didn’t want to, so she bought a fake.

I didn’t have the heart to tell her that it was one of the worst fakes I’ve ever seen and she was fooling no-one 😂
