Football Kits get more expensive every single year, with the normal fan versions with player on the back already at over €100 these days at most clubs - ridiculous. But there is 1 place called DHGate where you can get the exact same jerseys as fakes for a fraction of the price and apparently there is no real difference - that's what people say. I personally think it isn't unethical to buy fake kits at all, I'd say it's even more unethical how much the actual brands charge you.

PRO TIP FOR WASHING ANY JERSEYS (real or fake): always wash your jerseys inside out in the washing machine, on cold setting. this is to protect any heat transferred vinyl (sponsors, numbers/names, sometimes crests/brand), and NEVER dry in drying machine, this will ruin them, always HANG/AIR DRY! jerseys usually dry super quick outside anyway :) Ive had dozens of real kits + fake kits from dhgate and all have lasted me for over 5-10 years after multiple washes, still perfect condition!

Great video bro, just some constructive criticism: I would’ve bought fake kits that you already own the official version of and compared it side by side in the video so that us viewers could see any differences. However, I realise that you might not want to waste money on kits that you already own just for a video, so fair enough! Looking forward for more videos mate.

Finally, an actual opinion on this. All the kit collectors have some sort of fetish and say all sort of random bs about the fake kits, but you looked at it from a normal person's point of view

If you are going to have a serious collection, go for real ones. If you want a collection but you want to use the jerseys and have a lot, go for the fake ones, they have an amazing quality.
I think its better to have 6 fake than 1 original for the same price. U can use it with no worries, and replace it if something happen.

Hard to think clubs used the same kits for as long as 3 or 4 years straight back in the 90s.

And they were a lot better back in the day, too.

Personally as a jersey collector, I would rather wait for the off-season sale where I can get a discounted original jersey or even a secondhand jersey for the same price as a fake one. However, I do have purchased fake kits before from Thailand (well-known for their supply of fake kits) and used them to play football / other sports.

As an Asian living in a country with a currency that isn't as strong as the US Dollar, British pound or Euro, collecting authentic jerseys is a burden nowadays. Not only that they're expensive, back when I was a kid clubs usually keep the same design for at least two seasons. Now they come up with at least two, if not three jerseys every single season. Very few people will buy all three, but my cousin who used to collect these things fell out of the hobby a long time ago because it wasn't feasible anymore, and I know there are a lot of people like him.

Sometimes the kits come from the factory where the replicas are made and it will be the same quality but workers will be selling it for cheap because normally in the factory there will be some defects with the kit and the workers take it and sell it

I'd love to see a part two with 6 or 8 jerseys. I know it would be expensive but this video banged so maybe the production value can increase lmao?
Would love to see you get side by side comparisons and then have a real and fake that you hand wash a number of times, real and fake you machine wash with and maybe a pair you do inside out so we not only learn about the quality of fakes next to authentic but we learn the best way to wash the shirts
