is just me or is the dog playing a note on the keyboard the best part of this video?! I mean the tutorial was phenomenal and really helpful but once the dog appeared, immediately the best video in youtube

Key takeaway here: "if you're lazy, you're not going to make it." I love it.

Wow. Im primarily a guitarist. In a punk band. You just explained all the questions i ever had on the ii V I progressions. Ive watched a thousand jazz tutorials and all i needed was this video. Thanks for the key to the door.

She sounds jazzy, is a compliment. It means she understands the music.

When people post... "Thanks for giving me the keys to the door", imho those are the most beautiful compliments a teacher can receive. You deserve so much credit for touching musical hearts. Please give this lady all the support she deserves! Lovely

i wish you were my teacher when i was young. That is the way teach!!! not too serious about yourself but very serious about the lesson, how to be clear, efficient in information transfer. Really a perfect lesson!! thank you!!!

I love hearing her saying jazzy :) I can tell that it is more of how you feel it than reading the sheet and analyzing the theory.

Great video, It was 21 years ago my late guitar teacher taught me II-V-I and all I want is playing rock/grunge/punk/metal music. RIP my teacher, I become a better player because of you.

Once I finally played 2 5 1 correctly, I took it through the root chords until A major and I got really excited bc I began vocalizing. I realized, THIS music here is very expressive. This is the level I wanted to explore. I'll be watching this lesson for a few months to practice and improvise with. Thank you so much for your lesson.

Played trumpet for years. Switched to piano. This is exactly what I needed to evolve as a player.😀

I've been studying ii-V-I for a bit now, trying to "master" it and I have to say, yours is one of the best tutorials out there on how to practice it and make it more natural and varied. Thanks a lot for sharing your skills with us mortals, lol.
