I just left the military and will be starting college at the age of 24 this Autumn semester. I want to major in actuarial science or mathematics to become an actuary. My concern is that I will be competing for jobs with other candidates around my age who have 5 years of experience already.

I am 27 years old and currently I am working in the Treasury Dept. which I don’t like at all, so is it too late to start for actuaries, as I want to switch my field.

What kind of entry level salaries can one expect? No issue waiting to gain experience for the if bucks but what is hard is to take a step down when things are already tough…

Hi, I'm 26 only high-school and really really need guidance here am lost don't know what to do and I'm very average at 📖🖋. And yes salary is the first thing that attracts me and I'm thinking about data science+ quantitative economics or actuary kinda combination is it wrong of me.
