I can't believe it's finally finished, the world map from Super Mario World! I had so much fun, and also learned so much from this creation! I really want to create more maps, let me know in the comments which maps you would like to see me create next.
- The clay I'm using is FIMO soft polymer clay.

Regular dots (yellow) - normal above ground level
Dots with blue around them (yellow) - normal water level
Dots with rubble around them (yellow) - normal underground level
Ones with red dots have a secret exit in them

This looks really cool! I am just imagining how cool this place would be in real life.

This was outstanding. I've been a huge Super Mario World fan since it came out. I'd love to see you tackle maps from Mario Land from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Kitchen Island from Wario Land, or even New Super Mario Bros. U (which took inspiration from this map). Keep up the great work!

Rocks around the stage represent Volcanic underworld stages.

This is incredible, definitely the coolest SMW thing I've seen in a long time! Great job :)

Also, the blue levels are water levels, and the rubble piles are underground levels. And the band-aid hill gets "hurt" after the castle next to it blows up after beating it!

Truly phenomenal work! I really like that you re-purposed the leftover clay creations that you didn't end up using in your projects - talk about resourceful! And I like that you mentioned an often-overlooked aspect of any creation - the thought process! It's not necessarily something that can be overtly observed, but an important step nonetheless.

The way the water in itself was created was awesome - not only did you add white to the clay for patterning, but you sliced and pieced together the watery clay for added randomness - it's extra steps like that which show the immense amount of care and detail that do into these designs of yours. And they're things that people might not be aware of otherwise, so I think it's great that you mention them - it definitely gives me an even greater appreciation for the time and effort that goes into these creations.

Excellent editing and camera work here, as well - I'm sure it takes a great deal of careful planning and execution to have it all come together so smoothly, to coordinate it with the narration, and to adjust the speed of the footage, as well. Just really well done in all regards. Thanks for sharing! :D

That bowser cave came together so nicely... I was honestly in awe watching you somehow add more and more detail to it. You really have some incredible talent!

10:47 In a cutscene when you beat that castle there will Mario, as usual, activate a trigger, which launches the castle to the hill in the background, making this thing appear on it... So your reference image probs showed the map after this part (I assume fully completed?)

Major kudos for including details like the bandage on the World 4 hill even though you didn't know why it was there. There are good reasons for those things, so I really appreciate you assuming it's there for a reason.

As for that specific one, in the cutscene after Mario finishes the World 4 castle, it blasts off like a rocket and hits that hill, lol.

One of my favorite things about this video is hearing your speculation as to what is going on in certain areas of the map that you haven't been to yet. :)
