Victoria’s Secret is reportedly dropping its “woke” makeover and bringing back “sexiness” as it tries to reverse falling sales.

The company retired its “angel” models in 2018, and declared its aspiration to be “the world’s leading advocate for women”.

TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer is joined by YouTuber Jess Gill to discuss the U-turn.

Humans evolved as social creatures with emotional shame as a factor. Shame served a purpose in human evolution. If someone did something dangerous or unhealthy, like overeating, then shame became a factor. I find overweight people unappealing because of evolution

If I was being paid $$$ to be a super model I would totally do what I needed to do to look the part - that would be my professional standard.
I'm not those women, modelling is not my career, I have no desire to be a size 6 - I have other priorities.
When I shop for clothes, the last thing I want to see is a daggy, frumpy, mumsie look.
