A great side effect of having so many cacti and other plants overwintering in your office, is that they collectively have the potential to increase oxygen levels around your home. This can improve sleeping quality and overall health, as well as offering some therapeutic value.

Japanese elders often claim that plant companionship lengthens lives and quality by lowering stress. I would have to agree with them. With current events and things as they are now, we are living through quite extrordinary times not seen since WWII.

Back to Cacti, your plants look great and in deep slumber. The grow lights are such a good tool to have over December and January due to the long nights and dull days. It just gives them the boost they need when growing and flowering commences in late February/early March.

As always thank you very much for posting!.

A great part 2...there's so many plants I always enjoy looking at the ones in this room seeing how they're doing and we all get to enjoy them on these individual tours... It was great to see all the cactus plants from me are doing well and seem settled thank you for the mention, the Matucana is the first time I've seen it since your unboxing and it looks happy and wow the buds are still intact too! 😁👌🏻👍🏻🌵⛄🎄

Wonderful video, Lynn! I will have to watch again. You identified several ones that I have and didn't know the names of. I'll need to make some labels. My plants are LOVIN' the Mars Hydro and I have afew that are about to bloom. I know I promised to send you a photo of the Gibbiflora but it's taking forever to bloom, although a hint of bright pink is starting to some through. The stems are so long, you will be amazed to see them. The jade plants are absolutely thriving under theses lights. They are succulent and shiny as well as the kalanchoe, bursting with health! . I've never seen it so happy and ready to burst into bloom! it's interesting to learn which plants need more or less light and which need a little shot of water now and then.

Hi Lyn lovely to see the Euphorbia Phosporens seedlings sticking their head out : ) Thanks for the update. I was surprised to hear you mention that there are crosses between Kalanchoe Daem x Tubiflora, a year ago I had no idea that there were so many different types of Kalanchoe Daem.. I'll have to look at some images to try and do a proper ID on mine now : ) Great to see you have so many plants indoors, they all look cool and I like the mix between the very old and the very young ones in your office.

Would you say the wider leaved Rhipsalis you show at 3:21 is an easy one to be grown indoors (near a southern window)? Has the orchid that is labeled as Zygopetalum at 21:30 bloomed before? I thought of Oncidium or Brassia when I saw it. Happy growing! :)
