I have an actual dex. It hasnt been recognizing think i just need a new fast charger for it. works awesome with s8 for sure ive used it with s10 plus. Back in the day i had an evo 4g that thing had built it micro hdmi output.

The dex has extra regular usb ports ao you can use mouse keyboard or controlers. It also has a small cooling fan.

So DeX is no longer wireless like on my Galaxy Note 9? It's just a button on my quick panel pull down next to the flashlight button. I can have my phone in my lap as the mousepad and the tv mounted on the wall with no cords attached. Samsung is going backwards 😫 Now I really won't update phones until I'm forced to.
