Using my Samsung S24 Ultra as a Desktop Computer! My Samsung Dex Setup

My new Samsung S24 Ultra, is my first Android phone and I am finding it a lot of fun! Today, I show you my setup for running Samsung Dex. Dex is an included feature with the Galaxy phones and allows you to turn your phone into a desktop computer!

Finally got 1440p/60 with my setup. I went through 5 adapters until the Samsung Dex station achieved. Before 60hz was maxed at 1080p

What about the temperature of the device when editing videos or playing games in Dex mode? I'm really curious if there are heating problems when working in this mode.

Did you connect that hub to power 45w adapter too? For phone charging or hub need that power?
Did this charging make the phone more warmer?

And if the phone connect to monitor how long we can work on battery? Did it make phone's battery drain faster?

And in normal using like chrome more tabs and youtube 4k playing and video playing on monitor, is it work and play like phone without any lag? or chrome and playing video on youtube will be slower and have lags?

Dex has been around for a number of years. The best connector is the Samsung DexPad, which allows the res to go upto UWQHD or higher

I use my dex connected to a beasus dock where the phone sits into the dock. That is connected to a vaydeer monitor riser & that gives me an extra 4 USB 3 ports & a logi keyboard / mouse. Amazing setup. With game pass there is nothing that touches it i think.

I followed your instructions to the letter, sans keyboard and mouse, and it works perfectly as you described. Thank you so much for this video. But... I do have a question. I'm trying to listen to the audio through my bluetooth yearing aids or my bluetooth headphones. I can hear audio through the headphones but even turned up all the way it's too soft to enjoy a movie. Would you have and suggestions? I sure would appreciate it, Thanks, Ken

What about videocalls? Can you add an external camera and microphone to the setup? Or must you use the phone's camera and microphone?

Please, try to use the windows RDP on the dex with external monitor. How will it work?
