🕊️ Raymond Moody is the legend who originally coined the term 'near-death experience' in his 1975 book 'Life After Life'. For over half a century Raymond has researched some of life's greatest mysteries, with his main focus being on near-death, shared-death, and after-death experiences. Raymond has a PhD in Philosophy, is an MD, and has published a plethora of books. He's one of the all time greats of Parapsychological research and through his work, maybe we can get a glimpse into the afterlife.

"It's still very counterintuitive to me, but, to my astonishment, I give up, there's an afterlife, that's what I think. " - Dr. Raymond Moody

When I was in secondary school in the seventies (it must have been very soon after the book was published) one of my teachers read out a passage from 'Life after Life in our school assembly. I was so excited to hear it. I have been intrigued ever since. Also in our primary school library in the sixties we had copies of Dr Seuss stuff here in the UK.

What an immensely uplifting, enlightening raconteur! The good Doctor has quite cheered me up :)
I rather envy you Ben, you're steadily meeting some of the most interesting people in modern history!
I was first introduced to Raymond's work when I was a child by my grandmother, whom I look forward to seeing again ;)

Wowza, this great discussion was a bit more cerebral than a single cup of coffee could power through. I’ll need to reflect on and circle back to this again.

46:21 thank you for these followup questions, details of personal experiences are valuable for studying/learning better the phenomena. I was thinking of another type of mirror-gazing: the kind described in the Law of One material, a type of meditation to _see_ the Creator.
