The mathematics of quantum mechanics lie in the basic foundation of building the concepts of quantum physics. The math of quantum mechanics comes often as a challenge to students, who are first taking their steps to learn Quantum physics. However, if you carefully understand the postulates of Quantum physics, you will be able to learnt he maths of Quantum physics. In this video, I have explained all the five postulates of Quantum physics and explained them in simple language. I have also introduced Dirac notation and explained the first postulate thoroughly. In the next videos, I will be explaining the other postulates as well as the mathematics involved in it.
00:00 - 00:54 - Introduction
00:55 - 01:54 - Mathematical postulates of Quantum Mechanics
01:55- 03:59 - First postulate of Quantum Mechanics
04:00 - 06:18 - Second postulate
06:19 - 08:21 - Third postulate
08:22 - 08:45 - Fourth postulate
08:46 - 11:39 - Fifth postulate
11:40 - 13:19 - Revisiting the first postulate
13:20 - 16:10 - Why do we need postulates
16:11 - 20:45 - Braket notation
20:46 - 24:41 - What is a quantum state
24:42 - 26:32 - What are exclusive states
26:33 - 30:21 - Orthogonal and projection of vectors
30:22 - 30:53 - Quantum states for the particle in box
30:54 - 31:53 - Topics for the next video and Conclusion
