The mathematics of quantum mechanics lie in the basic foundation of building the concepts of quantum physics. The math of quantum mechanics comes often as a challenge to students, who are first taking their steps to learn Quantum physics. However, if you carefully understand the postulates of Quantum physics, you will be able to learnt he maths of Quantum physics. In this video, I have explained all the five postulates of Quantum physics and explained them in simple language. I have also introduced Dirac notation and explained the first postulate thoroughly. In the next videos, I will be explaining the other postulates as well as the mathematics involved in it.

Thankyou Shounak, wonderfully well organised, articulate and lucid! 😸
Aside: Those "weird names" are how I tracked (and track) down the different things I need to study. For example, knowing that eigenvalues were important for understanding the behaviour and stability of dynamical systems, I found out that eigenvalues were taught in first year maths, so I studied that. More recently, I have been on a quest to find out more about "Sobolev spaces", because (apparently) these are important for partial differential equations hehe. I look forwards to hearing your description of Hilbert spaces when we get there, as often a physical description of a concept has different insights compared to a mathematical definition.

Question: Are the ket type of vectors contravariant or covariant please, or is co/contra-variance unrelated to bra and ket?

bra ket system .is it geometric algebra?
