Cleaning the hardwood floors in my dining room

Deep cleaning the hardwood floors in my dinning room took an hour! Ahh 😱 I first cleared out the space and then swept and vacuumed the hardwood floors. I used my favorite mop in the world (O Cedar spin mop, link below) and scrubbed and scrubbed until my pregnant body gave up, 3 buckets 🪣 later. It’s not perfect but it looks a whole lot better! These floors are over 100 years old and have taken quite a beating so it would take a lot more but I’m happy with how this nesting session went 🤰🏼

I think the people who are asking about the after maybe want a longer after shot because it's only on the screen for a split second so it's like If you blink you miss it 😅 ❤ looks great to me. We all have to make do with what we have, we have rented a house in the past with hardwood floors definitely not my favorite floors in a rental, especially when they haven't been cared for very well.

I did this when I first moved into a house with my mom. Only time I’d ever mop hardwood floors, mopping them definitely ruins them but I’m sure you know that.

People!!!! Murphy's oil soap will build up on real wood floors and create a cloudy coating! I had a client who used it and thought she ruined her floors.. Hired me to "fix" them.. took a lot of windex and on my hands/knee's cleaning that cloudy film off!

I also have this mop. I like the spin dry bucket. But this mop cost me a lot of money and the handle is very short. And I don’t know what to clean my wooden floors with. I’ve never had wooden floors. My son has a lot of allergies so I wanted a house with wooden floors. But please help me. I don’t think I should put comet on the floors or pinesol.

Thats just disgusting. Unsanitary health hazard. How does one let it get that bad?? I would of been ashamed of myself for walking on such filth. I bet the people who lived here walked bear foot and have a permanent layer of black filth on their soles.
