Nintendo May Not Like Super Mario Sunshine Mod...

you should check out Super Mario Eclipse
before it's too late it's a brand new Super Mario
Sunshine mod that just came out
after spending 5 years in development
the mod picks up right where Super Mario
Sunshine left off which is awesome
cause this is basically a brand new DOC
to a game that came out in 2002
the longer you wait to play this mod
the more difficult it will become to play this mod
as we have seen
Nintendo act pretty harshly to this type of stuff
in the past a good example of Nintendo doing this
is the Super Mario 64 Online
that was taken down in 2017
and I do recommend if you do plan on playing it
to get it installed sooner rather than later
and just make sure it's on your computer
and make sure you're doing all this legally
it's very easy to go to YouTube
and figure out how to do all of this stuff properly

Nintendo is not allowed legally to take down this mod because it is someone's creation and the way it's installed requires a legally bought copy of Mario Sunshine.

Bit of an update on this, as I was able to get the game working with my copy of Super Mario Sunshine working for this mod… Used an extractor to put the ISO file on my PC.

They deffo went through some shit with Nintendo, but there’s always been a power struggle with this type of stuff. From what I understand the Eclipse team and Nintendo came to some sort of agreement because they state in their “xdelta file” that they “…do NOT condone piracy” so as long as you own the base game of Super Mario Sunshine, I believe your allowed to get Eclipse a lot easier… For now.

Nintendo doesn't touch stuff like this and they can't even if they want to. Nintendo has never gone after ROMhacks because they have 0 legal claim to them. Telling people to download this "before it's too late" and Nintendo takes it down is just fearmongering.

But yes this Mod is amazing
It adds so much stuff
Some even Inspired if scrapped levels and idea
The moment enchantments make it so much more fun to controlling and just the pure quality
Of the levels the mafia hotel in predicular

Instead taking down good fan game and mods, Nintendo should really take care of their own Nintendo Switch first who still suffer a lack of variety because made a Nintendo Switch 7 years later without be able to release on it a new game, port or remaster about Star Fox, F-Zero, Kid Icarus and Tomodachi Life due to be too much focus on the same cash grab franchise almost every years between Mario, Pokemon, Kirby, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade and Zelda while they put others of their franchise such Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Metroid and others far away in the closet, their Switch still s*cks so it will not give envy to buy their next console if Nintendo is still more focus to sue and take down fan project on internet than take care about their console and their games.

one example from 2017 means nothing in the grand scheme of things. the mario 64 pc port (and its many mods) have been up for a while with no issues, along with sites like mfgg that host mario fangames have been up for decades. acting like every mario-related fan project is inevitably taken down is just false
