Early on, I was not an Annika fan, did not root against, just indifferent. I also had contacts within the NFL and saw numerous players behind the scenes, and knew who was a good person and who was not. One day I was talking with a client in the golf equipment business and he said he needed to hang out with a golf legend who he said, could be nicer. I asked, who were the nice people in golf and he said, I will give you two names, Steve Stricker and Annika Sorenstam. You will never meet nicer people. Huge fan of both of them ever since.
