Legends does everything i want from a pokemon game. I want them to build off the legends format.
1. The music changes throughout the story as you progress. Which blew me away.
2. The side characters were very memorable and that you felt more immersed with them.
3. 1 game not split into 2 different versions.
4. The game mechanics felt more fluid. You could send out multiple pokemon and have them interact together. You could also dodge and catch stuff without option of battle.

For the 10th generation it would be an absolute disgrace and disservice to not have a National Pokedex with every single Pokémon compatible with the game. You shouldn't have to compromise.

Was just thinking about this episode. Greg is literally a gold mine. I love hearing his perspective since he was an adult vs a kid when pokemon started.

It sucks not hearing Soul talk this time because I would’ve liked to hear his ideas on a gen 10 game 😂.

What surprises me is that, in terms of a battle sim, how have they not incorporated that into Pokémon Home? It would be a way for them to actually allow all those Pokémon to constantly be usable, they have animated models already in the mobile version, they don't necessarily need to have animations for the attacks.

My ideal Pokémon game would have a few battle facilities including a new PWT, the QoL of Scarlet and Violet, the customization of Sword and Shield, and a region like Unova or Sinnoh with a lot to explore that's not required for the main story. I would also like the HGSS Safari Zone and Gen 3 contests. Lastly, I would like for there to be a decent postgame similar to HGSS Kanto or Sevii Islands in FRLG, or even eastern Unova of BW1.

I know this is kind of asking a lot, but I really just want a lot of content that I, as a single player enjoyer, can sink my teeth into. I basically want to fused my favorite elements from Gens 3-5 together

Even though I hate Violet paradoxes being robits too, I don't REALLY mind them existing. It's an artist's vision, and I think the message the devs wanted to say is that we should stop idealising the past and the future and start to live in present where we belong too. They wanted to say that we should not escape to the world of dreams just because our current reality is not perfect, that maybe the past or the future is even worse.

All the Kanto talk in the first 3rd of the video just makes me want a truly updated Kanto game…more of a sequel. Add more current mons, make things change, I’d love to revisit this old region in a new way. Much like BOTW did with Hyrule

I love to see or do my own thing if it is taken on
1. gym or take on the stage as a pokemon performer idol. Doing contest showcase something like that has my own goal and generation 10
2. I went to see a reset us your town to help people like pla in do requests for the people in your home town
3. To see a reset, us old region game, a reboot like honnie, how it is pokemon contest and gym, but it is only an elite forth it should be a grand festival to you starting out a student but it summer in you look for something you like to do

Know I’m late but how about Pokémon stadium for competitive players where you make mons how you want and main line games for catch them all and why couldn’t they have all in one gen just put half in one version and rest in the other one.

Anything I like about SV, I like DESPITE of it being an open world game, rather than because of it.

I would have loved to see Paldea as a more traditionally structured region.

The perfect Pokemon game would have routes that are very long and exist as paths through an expansive map broken up into districts of one region based on the wild west America. Emphasis would be on survival so use of items would become essential the story happens as you travel each new route the three plot story line plays out gyms/elite four challenge, evil team( actually evil), collecting all the Pokemon has more incentive and rewards and its own story and characters, legendaries

Same mechanics except money is highly accessible (maybe a gold nugget Pokemon that drops and holds nuggets)

All 1008 Pokemon are available in the wild each version has about 500 Pokemon and they are completely different for each version so all 1008 become available through trade and Home

Wild doubles battles over world and random encounters shiny sounds and sparkle for over world Pokemon

The whole thing is your a sheriffs kid and you start the journey taking an item to him past route 1 for that you need a Pokemon from the professor in the starting town when you meet your dad you get to battle him and he gives you items you need that replace HMs you cut you swim but the fly hm is locked to certain flying Pokemon late game and you can soar over routes also fast travel points basically the evil team rides into your home town and captures towns folk eventually your dad gets captured and you face the outlaw gang evil team to the end the gyms unlock as you are able to fend off outlaws and return town folk they are all unique job skill gym leaders and it's common to tame and battle Pokemon your rival races you to become champion your companions travel with you as the story progress and provide the insensitive to collect every Pokemon they offer trades and rewards as they are technically collecting Pokemon and getting items also with you as you travel turns out she is the daughter of the outlaw gang leader and she wanted to collect all the Pokemon to find a team strong enough to over through him
Side quests lead to the legendaries (treasure maps) they can be found early game some old legendary Pokemon some new but you can only use them after you are champion

What do you think?

what i find interesting from Greg's remarks of S/V bugs, cuz I assumed that a new hardware (like Switch 2) would be able to handle the processing CPU in order for bugs to not be a problem anymore. But Greg is saying on a corporate development level, bugs come through in games because they think they can get away with it, therefore a 'Switch 2' that can process high quality enhancements (like open-world, graphics, etc) will *not* fix bugs, and we can expect more bugs to come in future games until the company makes an effort (likely once they feel 'forced' to, in order to keep their audience/fanbase, which will be most felt in sales numbers) to resolve bugs in the development stage. Makes me wonder when TPC will feel compelled enough to give more care to bug fixes *prior* to game releases?? Does the next Pokemon game have to get bad sales numbers in order for TPC to feel 'forced' to invest in bug fixes before releasing games? I hope it doesn't come to that point but that seems to be the trajectory imo.

I would like Johto version and Kanto version pair of games. The events of each game are playing out simultaneously, but the opposite gender player character is the one doing the events of the other game.

Pokémon professors are going to be furiously investigating why there are so many Geodudes in Sinnoh after listening to this episode lol
