Why do people believe that God created the entire universe but not believe that God can be fully God and fully man

Nestorians feared that saying Jesus was fully divine and fully human as one person might blur the distinction between God and man, making it seem like God Himself could suffer and die, which they found problematic. Thus, they argued for a clear distinction between the two "persons" or identities of Christ.

Nestorians have taken control of the world Christianity now.
Orthodoxy is Apolstic.
Our God Jesus is fully Divine and fully Human. Our Mother Mary Theotokos is bearer of GOD!!

St. Cyril even went as far as stating that there is a single composite nature "but we say that there is One Son, and as the holy Fathers have stated: One Incarnate Nature of The Word."-St. Cyril, first letter to Succensus.

And also "They also said the following: ‘If there is one incarnate nature of the Word then it absolutely follows that there must have been a mixture and confusion, with the human nature in him being diminished or ‘stolen away’ as it were. Once again those who twist the truth are unaware that in fact there is but one incarnate nature of the Word."- St. Cyril, second letter to Succensus. This shows a passionate and continuous defense of 1 nature.

Whats wild is Nestorianism was probably the more widespread sect in the early days. It was most prominent in the east and it was Nestorians who brought the gospel to China

Nistorians accepted council of chalcedon. Council of Chalcedon contradict council of Ephesus and St.Cyril.

Nestorius did not reject a prosopoic union but he rejected a hypostatic union. Basically said that there was two natures that subsisted in christ thus necessitating two qnoma (hypostases) in the person of Christ. Nestorius also never rejected the title of Theotokos but thought it deficient. There were three titles circulating in the east in regard to Mary. Theotokos-god bearer, Anthropotokos- the bearer of man, and Christokos-the bearer of Christ.

According to miaphysites, Nestoriuos in reality had the same Christology as Chalcedonians.
