These are some gorgeous looking products; especially Ork Borg.
17:10 Goblins + Raccoons = an excellent idea.
JP was such a warm and enthusiastic style.

Thanks to Professor Dungeon Master and everyone taking part in this months festivities I'm caught in a loop of getting recommended awesome stuff I want to spend money on made by people who then recommend even more stuff I want to spend money on. Well after this month I'll have a massive lovely pile of books and zines to work my way through!

So glad to see indie RPGs getting more coverage! I'm on the Shadowdark RPG bandwagon but great to see all the different indie publishers get some love. Thanks!

started making a TTRPG recently (HEAVILY based on Monster of the Week and Blades in the Dark, with Trophy Dark, Maze Rats, and Tunnel Goons leaning in) so this feels extra cool. Definitely a lot of visual inspo too, gonna have to grab some of these!

Not necessarily related to indie games, but I just wanted to say thanks for your channel. I'm about to start my first in-person campaign in a couple of weeks, and your videos on artwork, map-making, mini-making, and all that sort thing have been absolutely inspirational and very helpful to me. I've been watching for a while, but I'm finding myself referring to your stuff a lot recently! Thanks again, and keep up the great work!

Yaaaay, hope there is more to come. It would be cool if you could dive a little bit deeper into goblin errands, that sounds amazing and, in my humble opinion, would really fit to your art style.

You would think I'd already know about this channel, but I didn't - so fringe benefit of indie ttrpg month is that I learned about this channel!

Awesome RPGs you spotlighted here. The Art itself as far as we were able to see inspires me to go out of my comfort zone and homebrew some non medieval fantasy settings or just in general darker worlds.

I would like to throw in three more TTRPG settings/systems. Not necessarily Indie but i just really like them and think it fits well with the context of this video:

- *The Forbidden Lands RPG* by Free League,
dark medieval fantasy survival, very OSR and a d6 dice pool system.
This has replaced D&D in my Player Group. The setting that comes with it is intriguing and honestly very good but the rules are super easy to apply to every homebrew world too. Only thing you really need is a hex map for the world and if you take full advantage of the sandbox and random nature of the game (and the included tables for rolling random encounters etc.) not even that.
Prep for one session takes max. 15 minutes and that part is not my personal decision but purposefully by the game. perfect for DMs with a job, busy live or just those that dont want to prep much.
The books are also illustrated with beautiful black and white oldschool art.

-*ROOT the Roleplaying Game* by LederGames / Magpie Games,
like the board game of the same name it is good for oneshots or shorter campaigns. It is a d6 system.
you play adorable little forest creatures trying to free the forest from the Marquise de Cat.
The book is colorfully illustrated. The art is by Kyle Ferrin. Look him up! He is amazing.
The board game is equally good and highly recommended. A big fan favorite in my group next to Spirit Island and Stuffed Fables.

-*The Dark Crytal Adventure Game* by River Horse Publishing
I got interested in this because of the Awesome puppeteered films/shows of the Dark Crystal Universe. It comes with an adventures that leads you all over Thra, and makes the players go through a bunch of puzzles. I always feel like in this you are not supposed to fight but if you do you quickly feel that the world is deadly and as a Gelfling basically everything is bigger and wants to eat you.
If somebody does not like d6 systems this system wants you to use D4, D6, D8 and D10.
The book has beautiful colorfull illustrations, and some nifty extras and is highly recommended.

Looks like you found the best both at any con, the Indie Press Revolution both. They have taken so much of my money for many years. 😂

OSE is basically reorganization of the old B/X D&D, and it is awesome.
