There are too many temptations when one travels without their family. The accountability just isn’t there.

The person was flawed, but his arguments on matters religious philosophy and science are still valid to me

Guys GUYS… MAN.. how lost are we that we think just because Ravi did all this wrong that it has anything to do with what he has said🤦🏽‍♂️. Look at your OWN life! Think about it! What if everyone knew EVERY sin YOU committed! If you have NO mercy on Ravi.. WHY ON EARTH SHOULD JESUS HAVE MERCY ON YOU!!

We don't know the sin in another person's life. This is why I focus on my own walk and I try not to put other Christians on a pedestal

Editing this because I want to be a little more clear...

"And he was Arminian, right?" as if that alone was a totally obvious reason not to like RZ, second only to the fact that he was engaging in lust, adultery, etc. Popular online calivinists are really starting to emphasize calvinism as so essential. I just feel like I am starting to see them really set themselves far apart from the rest of the Christian body. They're special, and non calvinists aren't, cuz we aren't with it. We aren't in the club. Sorry, just bothers me I guess.

I didn't believe it and didn't want to believe it. But after I read some of the official information and learned there were photos... I had to accept it. I still can't think about it or talk about it. I can't fathom what his wife must be going through.

"...and he was Arminian right?" lol, c'mon. I will say that Ravi appealed to a lot of people, myself included, because he spoke against postmodernism as it was propelling into the stratosphere of our culture. Two decades ago, there weren't a lot of pastors warning about what was coming. And, Ravi's rise occurred at a time when we didn't have the benefit of podcasts like this one. People in the pews were coming off of the seeker sensitive movement of the 80's and 90's and were desperate for apologetics.

The more one learns of the realities behind the Zacharias failings, that years ago he was asked about revealing concerning phone texts and violently refused and so many other red flags that are revealed after, is all very detracting from a positive ending with him.

So much arrogance and self righteousness here. Doctrine isn’t everything fellas

Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Luke 5:32
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

If you were suspicious, why didn't you say it out to him and the public when he was alive? Read Romans 2 about judging others

Do people feel better about themselves when they found out about others sins?
Let’s God be the judge, we ought to pray about Ravi’s families. As for ourselves, let’s be Holy as He is Holy with the guidance of Holy Spirit.

You can be saved and be an arminian -- saved, yet believe you can walk away from your salvation. Maybe Calvinist's treat it as "being out of fellowship". Newsflash! Calvinism won't save you either. I've seen more heresy over the years coming from Calvinist' s than from arminian's that's for sure! That's false logic to insinuate Ravi was a false teacher because he was an arminian. That's equal to saying, "There were no nuclear bombs before women got the vote." Calvinist's aren't correct either. The truth is somewhere in the middle. NO DOCTRINE will ever save you. Only the PERSON of Jesus Christ can save you.

Please don't make yourself look good before making it by comparing yourself with others. We are no better than what we say we are.

Did Justin say something before about it then? Because if not this whole thing is just click bait.

What was your point here? To say I told you so?
Did you ever listen to his message at the Mormon tabernacle? Ravi went into hostile territory and preached the Word.

Every message he preaches the word even though yes he uses philosophy.

And I believe it’s pronounced Sprowl, not Sproool.
What an arrogant discussion.

You guys are sounding very holy right now, whether you like it or not he has presented Jesus to more people than both of you put together so walk your walk and let the supreme judge judge him . Nit supporting him specially but this kind of behavior weakens christianity

I'm pretty sure if the hidden sins of these gentlemen were laid bare for all to see, we'd all realize that ALL OF US are in deep shit before God. The gospel would be so much more effective if Christians were more honest about their sins and weaknesses than their righteousness. Showing our need for the cross produces way more life than our need to be seen as righteous.

This guy asking “if Ravi is in hell, ” is what is wrong with Christians nowadays. Ravi’s teachings impacted lives. His faults is in the Lord’s hands. Questioning his faithfulness and repentance despite his impact divides us and makes us the laughing stock of the world. Instead, use this opportunity to preach instead of judging. Be blessed!

Ravi could not end it for the same reason these wise fellows did not call him out on it when they, in all their wisdom, were so suspicious.
