I would definitely enjoy a more in depth video on your collection or radioactive items. The story of the Radium Girls fascinates me and aesthetically I love green and the look of uranium glass.

My husband collects fluorescent pieces. All kinds. He has a cabinet filled and of all different colors. They are so pretty and fun to hunt for!

I loved this week's treasures, it makes a great way to start my week ❤️ Yes please do a segment on uranium and radium, that would be very interesting! I agree with the comments below, I think your small condiments dish would have sat in a silver tray with a handle and silver tongs? The hair curler heater was a fascinating find too, I loved what you did at the back of your hair xo

My grandmother used to collect salt and pepper shakers. Sadly, I don't have any of hers. My favorite was a mini-toaster with two "slices of bread", one "toasted" (the pepper) and one untoasted (the salt). She had others, and I know I had a "second best favorite, " but I can't for the life of me recall what it was! But I'll never forget that toaster S&P set. :~)

And yes! I'd love to learn more about your radioactive treasures.

Replacing cords is one of the easiest electrical repairs if you did want to fix up and use your vintage toaster and percolator. I think you can even find the wrapped cords for a vintage look if that's what those appliances currently have on them. I totally understand if you want to keep them original and admire on display instead though!

Just found your channel tonight! Amazing:) A few months ago I started collecting vintage salt and pepper shakers as well. I use a lot of mine for cosmetic loose powder and talcum powder. Most are floral print. They are beautiful and practical! Great night. N

I had no doubt by the second item that you were hinting at uranium! I was partially wrong because of the radium, I guess 😆
I would love to see a video on your collection! Uranium glass is so beautiful and fascinating, I'm also very intrigued by the history behind it. I'm still befuddled that they used to make radioactive water and sell it for its "health" benefits haha

*paused* So those look distinctly like uranium glass so I'm guessing the clock has radium paint? I love radionuclides.

the three items have uranium in common, I think!

My guess..The 3 items were things your husband had in his home growing up

So I'm guessing they all glow with blacklight. The green uranium glass and the hands of the clock.

Where in Cali did you grow up in? I grew up OC and I remember going with my mom to antique malls. Unfortunately around the 90s they started closing. I remember one that was a really big one, two story. I do love shopping there.
Btw that shade of blue looks so pretty on you.
