I think both brands suck….. especially SamDung…. Very unreliable products, I tell my customers to avoid those brands as they have a very high failure rate… If you want reliability you’re better off buying a Maytag, KitchenAid or a subzero….. The biggest problem with those brands is also the lack of service technicians who know how to service them… Not to mention their service manuals are written in Korean and and English(all mushed together)… It makes it very difficult to read technical manuals when you not understand what the person who wrote the manual is trying to say… The biggest problem with LG and Samsung is that they tend to discontinue their parts within a few years of production of products… Where as, the American brands allow you to order replacement parts to years, after the product has been discontinued… another problem, with those two brands is the Korean mentality… “Stack them high let them fly”…. Shame on the politicians for allowing this cheap Korean junk into our country…
