So those beef patties are Jamaican of course, but in Nassau (Bahamas) we have a place that makes really good authentic ones, and I grew up calling them hotty patties as did a lot of other people. We can get them in chicken and beef and sometimes you get a whole tree in one, AKA, a thyme stem. :D
