I’m 99% certain that I helped Ed get unstuck during snowpocalypse in Atlanta. If my memory serves me correctly, he was in a Porsche and I suggested we get the tow hook out, and he tried to convince me to simply push him up the hill with my truck. Smart... I found myself in a predicament when I got a Stealth RT/TT for a song. Bought it to be a daily. But it turned out to be so incredibly nice with kinda low miles, I dailied it for about two weeks and now want to sell it to make $$ for other projects, and havent driven it since!!

When you buy the worst car, you will often end up spending lots of time and more than you saved just on parts to get it running and make it road worthy than buying the worst near road worthy running car. There is a tipping point.

If I ever had supercar money I would put so many miles on it the resale value would plummet. It’s not meant to sit there and get looked at and I hate that people do it. A car guy accepts it’s a money pit not a business transaction.

I love it but I also wonder if this really truly works for non exotic cars or cars not well within your budget. I can trust a 10, 000 mile or fewer car isn’t going to bankrupt me on deferred maintenance, but if I’m financing a well worn luxury car I’d imagine that situation doesn’t play out the same way
