Reminds me of the DnD group I had when I lived in China. It was an Irish guy who was our DM, two Americans, two Chinese, and three Serbian guys. I always thought man, this group would have no reason to get together if not for D&D

I taught my friends in bootcamp how to play dnd, we didn't have any of the books but I had enough memorized to be the DM, we used a bag and a bunch of strips of paper to "roll" and we even had bags for each different die (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, 100)

My favorite thing about the game is the chance to get people together and create something. Whether that's a story or friendships, I strongly believe TTRPG can be an incredible hobby.

In our high school DnD group, it definitely got the most mix match group of 8 people you’d never expect see together. 😂

We made dice out of toilet paper packed tightly using toothpaste as glue.

yes! As a former correctional officer and a Detention Officer and we had alot of guys playing DnD and PathFinder

They may have down crimes but that doesn't mean they aren't creative its impressive

If I went to prison I would spend as much time as possible running d&d games. Might as well take advantage of the extra time.

Dnd would help prison go by real fast, it allows you to focuse on something else beside survivng the hell you are in. I feel you would have less voilence in prision if you allow people to occupy their time with something else.

2 dnd sessions can last 10 years, that is far more than alot of non violent crimes prison sentencing.

What sucks in that dnd in prison is associated with pedo’s, pedo’s would do anything to try to connect with kids i.e watching cartoons playing games etc.
