I don’t know why media wants to push this narrative. If you look at websites that show the amount of listings added vs the amount of homes being sold. April has been the worst month this year.. at least in Richmond, bc. There’s waaay more listings added than sold. 🤷🏻‍♀

If existing home owners sitting on so much equity do not want to buy at these high interest rates, why would a first time home buyer buy.

I went to a builder last weekend. she said they release only 5 lots at a time, creating artificial supply shortage.
Need a big jerk to the real estate market, otherwise these builders have become drug addicts and got used to free money creating insane asset prices.
