Homeless Man Is Working Full Time While Living in a Homeless Shelter.

Показать описание
Eric lives in a homeless shelter in Traverse City, Michigan. He also works full time as a cook in a local restaurant.

Over the winter, Eric stayed in the emergency shelter. He talks about the challenges homeless people with jobs face while living in a homeless shelter. Most shelters are not set up for second or third shift workers.

The leading cause of homelessness is the lack of affordable housing. Because of that, more people with jobs just cannot afford a place to live and end up becoming working homeless.

He just proved wrong so many of the typical stereotypes of a homeless person. It can happen to ANYONE.

When he said his future is "optimistic", I was blown away. With his attitude and work ethic I think this guy is going to break free!

Shouldnt child support be based on your earnings? If he cant afford a roof over his head then obviously the child support is too high. America is basically a 3rd world country under the surface.

A huge trend I notice with these videos is that alot of the time it's a terrible relationship that wipes you out.

This man will make it... went through a similar experience where I held a 50 hour a week job and lived by the water so I could bath... within 3 months had a place to stay and a steady job. Strength and perseverance can win the day... many blessings

I felt for this guy. Seems like a divorce and job loss destroyed him. He is still working hard and trying to elevate himself. Good luck, man. 🙌

God bless you, Eric. You sound like an intelligent, hard-working man. I know things will get better for you, so hang in there. Also, you do need to take care of your kids, but you should be able to take care of yourself first so that you can be in a position to help your kids. The court system is biased against men, but that is changing.

It wasn't too long ago there was no such thing as a homeless person with a job. We are living in some messed up times. Many Blessings❤

Affordable housing should be government's top priority.

A King County Superior Court judge ruled earlier this month that the City of Seattle should not have impounded a vehicle that served as a residence for its owner. The judge ruled that the owner had homestead rights in the vehicle pursuant to chapter 6.13 RCW because it was his residence.
