My father died in March 6 weeks after being diagnosed with colon cancer, although we knew he had been sick for years. I realize that we were lucky, no one wants to lose their dad and I would give anything to have him back, but I am so grateful it wasn’t a long fight, for everyone’s sake.

That’s the real struggle, people look at homeless and automatically think they know one’s story without ever knowing.. Just like this lady, I’m glad she’s able to get on her feet again.
