You forgot the most important thing mileage. I own xuv700 diesel its cost was 25 lakh and petrol was around 23 lakh but the mileage I am getting is 17-18 in petrol it gives 3-4 or maximum 5
Now this causes a big difference. Don’t compare cheap cars because in that there mileage is almost same

I prefer Diesal.... 1. Fire incident ke chances bhut kam hote hai
2. Engine life is more then double in Diesel as compare petrol
3. More torque
4. AC works properly.
5. Fule efficiency is higher than petrol
6. Of course the fuel prices.
7. Powerful then petrol.
