In case you didn't know, u can store the laces and little stopper thing underneath the little meshpocket with the salomon logo (s)!!

My opinion on these shoes. They're super comfy. I work standing. walking, and running for 7 to 8 hours a day, wearing theses shoes, and not once have my feet suffered whilst wearing em. I have to pairs (one black and one white) and a pair of Salomon boots, and I can confirm that Salomon, in my opinion, is unbeatable when it comes to comfort, durability and wear-ability. My feet are kinda in-between wide and narrow, but I personally like my shoes to fit a bit snug, just bc I know the shoes will eventually expand a bit, especially cuz I wear my shoes to death and don't baby them. Salomons for me fit true to size. But from experience and reading other reviews about Salomons in general, the could run small, big, or true to size, depending on your foot length, width and other bodily factors. Either way, would recommend the xt6's for sure, also the xt4's as an alternative.

As someone who has a lot of foot injuries and overall issues with my feet due to pain and small arches/low instep, Salomon shoes and in general hiking and vintage flat shoes are perfect for me. After ditching super cushioned sneakers, as well as too narrow footwear in general, and going back to my roots being a Millennial, as I grew up with flat shoes, my feet are much happier. These types of shoes offer more stability, traction and are way more practical too as I’m Norwegian and live in Norway. I even have a pair of real hiking boots from the brand that are 9 years old, and even though the faux leather is starting to crack and come apart, they are still wearable and super comfortable.

great seeing your growth JD. don't see gorpcore trending down in short term - so these brands like arc'teryx, salomon etc - will hit even further mainstream. by its own nature, it will keep its core base of followers, never getting dummy popular, nor crash

Great video Josh. This review does a great job of describing the increasingly popular ‘gorpcore’ trend and really shines the spotlight on this style. I think it’s interesting how you give a bit of history behind each brand and show that you review specifically with these and how you go into detail about the original intentions of Salomon producing skiing equipment. I was up in the air about this shoe vs another however you made sure to be clear the sizing, outfit pairing and comfort aspects which gave me confidence in this pair as my final choice.

It will be interesting to see the way the gorpcore trend grows and how Salomon as a brand becomes a more prominent footwear choice in future.

I watched their developement since 1-2 Years and i finally cop them.
They are so nice amd gige me even more confidence than nike or adidas sneaker. I dont know why but in germany i never saw someone with these so its unique to wear them and they look more drippy than jordans fr. I think in in 2022 and in the next years they´re getting very hyped, but i hope not lmao

I get techwear vibes from these shoes. Especially the black model, like a veteran Navy SEAL wearing those in the subway after a long day of work instead of some bulky tactical boots like Salomon Forces mid EN.

so I usually wear a 8.5 - 9. my brother is selling me some cream xt6 salmons for 130 vnds which is a good deal. they are 9.5 ... they should fit right cause they say go up .5
