The first hit(zbt)was brighter& sharper sound. The next (A custom) it has got a lower fundamental nice sound with the best sustaining opening control free sound.

I have Zildjian ZBT cymbals at church but i definitely would go with the Zildjian A Custom... Zildjian A Custom Cymbals gives it that crisp and over the top vibe.

The materials are different i mean the tin content. The ZBT is B8 bronze while A Customs are B20, which should sound different. But i like them both, ZBT especially because i grew up hitting them so much. The quality is very good for the price i would say. A Customs are warm, but never have i owned high end cymbals in my life, i've hit them in shows and that's it. Good and positive comparison video sir. 👍👍

Nice video.... Enjoyed it. Thanks.
. Even though I speak of hi hats and this is a crash comparison. I want to share this.... . I bought a top A Zildjian 13 Mastersound Hi hat that a guy wanted to get rid of for 40 USD....Time moved on and I needed a bottom cymbal. Bought a ZBT 13 hat bottom for 19 USD as I could find nothing else second hand. I'm from South Africa BTW.... The two together sounds amazing. Exceeded my expectations.

Do you tap your cymbals when you play them?
Hardest part of getting a newbie to learn how-to do a drum check

I had a zbt rock crash, this was close to 20 years ago, hated it at first. But as the kits progressed and the cymbal collection got bigger, it really grew on me. Maybe it had to be broken in a bit. I grew pretty fond of it.

love when people just Make Content because they want to be """"Content Creators""" and its just shit like this lol. Didn't crash it, recorded off a phone mic so it's just going to immediately distort and sound like crap the second you hit it in any way. what're we doing here lmao

Zildjian zbt symbols, and sabian b8 both have high amounts of a cheaper type of bronze. They're also not made with as much care as higher equity cymbals are. The Zildjian K Custom Dark series are very nice for a thin cymbal that's easy to open up with a quick decay. In my opinion, I like the thinner cymbals with a darker sound - but a nice clicky high hat always sounds good in metal and punk music.

I’d assume someone with high-end cymbals would know how to actually hit them.

I would use both if you have the room and stands.

Regardless if he hit them or not, we all know that ZBT stands for "Zildjian Basically Trashy (garbage)" entry level line. Every fleshed out cymbal maker will have a line like that where the sounds are a major ick. 🤣😵🙅🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

ZBT 18 is the best crash ride i've ever owned.

I use 2 20 inch a custom thin crashes for the amazing bright but deep sound

16 inch crashes are falling out of favor with me. That’s why the next on my list is a 18 or 19 inch a custom projection crash.
