I don't care about water. I live in the south east. It's humid all year. I'm breathing water now. I'm just too lazy to mow it. And all my neighbors prefer grass, and planting it will upset them. So I'm going to.

I live in 7B VA with heavy clay. The lawn was mostly Creeping Charlie. I did a lot of weeding to NO avail. I decided to plant white clover in hopes of it taking over. The competition has been going on for 10 years at this point. I can’t declare clover the winner, but it definitely is holding its own. The bunnies adore the clover and so do the bees. The nitrogen fixing of the clover may help my veggies and pollinator flower beds. All of this is an attempt to keep herbicides and chemical fertilizers out of my yard. 🐞🐝🦋🐇

I have clover seeds waiting for me to sow. How much sand did you use in your spreader and what setting did you put it on? Do you have any concerns about birds, squirrels, or rabbits, if you have them in your part of town, coming in and feeding on all of the sprouted clover?

I miss clover. It was always in our yard. Pretty cool to go put and find 4 leaf clover. : )

I got interested in sewing Clover last Year, that was because we already had patches of Clover in our existing gras lawn, and i like how it always looks green all summer 😊. So about a month ago i took the discision to try to sew Clover in the rest of the lawn. So i have sewn white Clover into most of the lawn, and a smaller area with microclover. I am still waiting to see the result 😊

Water is not an issue where I live because it rains almost everyday of the year. However, I am sick and tired to have to mow the lawn and when I say lawn I mean a mixture of grass and weeds (mostly weeds in fact), so I wonder, will the clover will take over and prevent the grass from growing so I will not have to mow anymore and will it suffocate the weeds?

Mini clover is expensive, I stopped doing all that work, I just threw out the clover by hand, clover will spread.
