South Korea is a highly technologically advanced industrialized nation with nominal percapita income 3 times higher than Russia.
Put aside nuclear weapons then South Korean military is more powerful and more technologically advanced than Russia which is proven to be a joke in Ukraine.
While Russia for the last 24 years at the hand of Putin makes the country going nowhere and stagnated.
It is getting outgrown so far away by China in terms of industrialisation, technology development, education, trade, infrastructure building, and many more.
While Russia is a crony capitalism where the economy is controlled by a very few people close to Putin, it is so overwhelmingly dependent on oil&gas and raw material export, and it is also so overwhelmingly corrupt.
Like how corrupt is Russia...?
Putin had a networth of $200 billion and that makes him the world's richest politician and statesman in history that have no business background whatsoever.
