This is so true. I was in Italy and not just that there was no speed limit signs but neither police or Italians knew what was the limit when I asked. I was driving 4000km around Italy and some 100km before I reached Slovenia I realised what are actually speed cameras. I was pretty sure it's going to become a lot more expensive trip but no, I actually got no fines or tickets

“Don’t you think Paella is just rice with a bin bag emptied in it?” - the legend that is Jeremy Clarkson

Well, to be fair, there isn’t a speed limit in Germany either. So we’re following their lead. Only difference is that it was legally approved there while here we just formally removed it ourselves. 🇮🇹

I'm in Italy now. I have asked numerous locals the speed limit on some roads, they don't know. There are orange speed camera huts all over. I've walked by several and there is NOTHING in them. I've gone 80km in a 50km zone and still get passed by cars even with solid white lines and some have passed me in left-turn lanes. At 145km on the Auto Strata, they are still passing me. Tailgating is the norm too. Fun times!

paella is an arabic word "bakaya" that means leftovers
back in islamic spain kings or rich people used live some of their food to their servants to take home mosltly chiken and rice they mix that later with vegetable
for tourists is a fancy dish but its just like any leftovers

it would be nice but that story isn't true. speed limit is 130 km/h and all speed traps on highway works perfectly since 2002.

That spanish dish is named after an arabic word "Baqaya" which literally means "Left-overs"
