The gauntlet is more valuable since we already have stringmaster which is an amazing weapon already. Zhezhi rectifier is more of an specialist for basic attacker that spam reso skill (not encore since she will only utilize its full buff only at the last combo of her rotation). While stringmaster is more of an all-rounder. Press reso u got the buff. Zhezhi will deal more dmg with her sig but stringmaster won't be far behind.

Calcs already show XLY/Yinlin surpass Changli/Encore and Jiyan/Mortefi. It’s honestly mostly because Yinlin is so incredibly broken

I'm personally gonna pull for zhezhi and xiangli yao's weapon this patch(as i already have stringmaster) and save the rest for shorekeeper and her weapon. According to the rumour, she's gonna be a healer and a buffer and a rectifier user, so her weapon might have the chance to become best in slot for verina too. Those are the pulls that has the probability to bring most value to the account.

For Zhezhi's weapon, my guess is Coordinated attacks, since they're basically the only DMG you can do off-field in this game at the moment.

i'm a light spender but i always go for the weapon as well... I'm not particularly eager to swap weapons between characters, nor even echoes lol. Also I go for the aesthetic as well xD it hurt my eye to see a red-themed character with a blue/purple/yellow hue weapon lol So far I've spent only in Yinlin banner, all the others, especially Jinhsi S3 were f2p, I was just lucky enough to get everything super early.

Just to help you clarify, yes, NA on Zhezhi's weapon is basic attack, which 70% of her skit scale off from.

However, the only good cases to pull her weapon for F2P are only 1. You don't have Yinlin or her weapon 2. You have and want to use her together with Yinlin.

Look at the scaling, it is almost a mirror image: Stringmaster has base DMG bonus with scaling ATK on stacks and off field, while Drape has base ATK bonus with scaling DMG on stacks and off field. Yinlin's grants Crit rate, Zhezhi grants Crit dam.

Personally, if not for waifu reason and you don't want to use them together, Zhezhi's kit still scale just fine with Stringmaster. All her moves can trigger Stingmaster's conditions, too. Plus, If you want to build cost4 echoes for her, being Glacio or Moonlit, you can use Crit dam as base and transfer that to Sanhua (Ice) or other moonlit users (Sanhua, Mortefi) who coincidentally use Crit rate base weapons (Emerald and Static).

If you are whale, screw all of the above I type. Pull her weapon, the design is dope lol.

The only thing with string master on zhezhi is that it will only really work as a stat stick. I don't think Zehzhi can stack the passive since her attacks are considered as basic attack damage.

The gauntlet is just objectively better and that stamp doesn't seem like it will be better than the Stringless.
Xiangli Yao is nuts, if you got Yinlin he's going to be INSANE. I think the best teams for real will be: Jiyan/Mortefi/Verina, Jinhsi/Yuanwu/Taoqi, and Xiangli Yao/Yinlin/Shoreless.

Also Xiangli Yao is cool af and the only thing she has going for her is that she's wearing nothing but an apron. He's a badass cyborg, he is powerful, he is a MACHINE... also his weapon kicks ass and looks awesome.

If you want to main Zhezhi, then go for her weapon, it makes sense, but she is a support with a lot of off-field potency so only go for it if you want to doll her up. It's far too niche. Why bother with the stamp else-wise?

I was gonna pull Zhezhi and her weapon (considering getting Xinangli Yao's weapon too if I have the asterites - light spender here) BUT I'm hearing Jiyan's gonna have a rerun in 1.3/1.4 AND scar in (i think) 2.0 and these characters are one of the reasons I even started playing this game :)) 130 pulls on his banner after the game came out and I didn't get Jiyan >.<. So now I'm reconsidering Zhezhi altogether, with shorekeeper coming too...oof, it's a hard life out here for us light spenders/F2Ps :))

I'm really tempted to pull for both given Yao is free, but once numbers are up, if it is only like 5-10% better than Stringmaster, I see more worth on skipping to help secure Keeper.

F2P and sadly I didn't have enough astrites for Changli's sig weapon, but I will be getting that gauntlet not only to match Xianli Yao's drip but also for my Jianxin.

Everytime some dears say the general is gonna be outperformed I have to comment. Everything you said in this video was absolutely right. Except for him doing more dmg than jiyan. Jiyan isn’t too far behind jinshi . Ex if my jinshi hits 1m my jiyan hits around 800k to even 900k

Skipping Zhezhi and just going for the gauntlet. The crit rate plus all the resonance dmg increase looks insane.
