The Latest Lexus ES Is a Breath Of Fresh Air | An Update Done Well!

The Latest 2023 Lexus ES received one and final update which in my opinion is really done well!

The Lexus ES is one of the original Lexus models that has a long standing history of proper old school luxury and reliability. The Update of 2023 was really well done because they didn't take it too far.

They updated what needed updating and left the important things alone. The powertrains remains the same. In a world where larger smooth engines are being replaced with turbo charged 4 cylinders, the Lexus ES remains possible to get with a proper smooth old school V6.

In this video we take a look at what exactly did Lexus Update in 2023 in the ES and more.

The older I get...the more I like cars like this. The ultimate in luxury is not having to think about your car at all.

I’m a car enthusiast but now also a dad and the Lexus ES F Sport is the car that made me switch from my Infiniti QX70 which I loved. What made me change was Luxury with awesome F Sport looks, good tech including driver assistance and room for 2 car seats and most importantly it runs on regular fuel and is so inexpensive to own. I love Lexus approach of blending of luxury and tech while sticking to Toyota roots simplicity, durability and reliability. As always another great video my friend

I used to have a 2015 ES350. It was so quiet and smooth, when stopped at an intersection I would have to double check the RPM gauge just to make sure it was on! It was whisper quiet!

As someone who does a lot of work on cars, foreign and domestic, every time I see a japanese badge on a car that comes in, I always feel a breath of relief. Working on japanese cars is simple, whether it be doing suspension repairs like replacing a control arm or replacing the valve cover, I never had to step back from the car in frustration. Toyota makes there cars with the intention of having a long life span. I've never been underneath a car of another brand and had the same feeling.

Just became the proud owner of a 2014 ES350 ultra luxury. It’s everything I want in a car and more. Couldn’t be happier.

I own a 2008 ES 350, and at its age, with 127, 000, it still runs like new. Super reliable.

Superb review and hit all the points on why I settled for a 2023 ES 350. You do often have to check the speedometer to make sure you’re not going over speed limit due to smooth V6 and super quiet cabin.

After 2 and a half yrs of misery with my 7series Bimmer i got myself a 2020 ES350 yes not as much fun to drive but the peace of mind and the low maintenance and feeling you have that it will always starts and no more funky codes .
Thanks for the great review

My son bought a used 2013 Lexus ES 300h a few years ago. It is a phenomenal car, ten years from date of manufacture. He loves it. This is much the same concept.

AMD, We can hardly wait for you to get a Toyota Crown in your shop so you can compare it to the Lexus ES. I will also join with you in imploring Lexus to STOP THE F SPORT MADNESS!!! 🤨

My family put a deposit down for a 2023 es300h. Been waiting very very patiently for this review. Can't wait to show this video to my parents to confirm this purchase in their mind lol.
Thanks AMD, and as always keep up the fantastic work. Really proud of how far you've come as a channel and as a content creator!

I don't care what anyone says. The 3.5 V6 will always be smoother and better than any 4 cylinder turbo or hybrid 4 Cylinder. I hope Lexus doesn't ever get rid of that beautiful 3.5 V6 👍

The way AMD talks about the thud sound while closing the door and the difference in sound of the front doors and back doors! That just tells you who he is and why we follow him. It's these small things we gear head love.

I agree with you about the ES being super comfortable and easy to operate, I own a 22 ES 350 ultra luxury and couldn’t be happier.

I love hearing a mechanic saying things are simple to work on.

Lexus is probably my favorite brand.

You're spot on with the hybrid. Buzzier than I'd like at high RPM's but very quiet when below 2K RPM or of course when in EV mode. The '22 is the only year with the touchpad and touchscreen as well. Kind of cool if you feel like using one or the other.

Have had 3 Lexus ES this far and haven’t been disappointed yet. Just got a new 2023 ES 300h for my wife cause the last one was totaled in accident. I drive a Camry 2019 and no complaints. Thank you for the video, could you do another one focusing on the maintenance part only, for those of us that like to do our own maintenance at home.
