20 years from now a teenager is going to inherit this car from grandpa.

I have a 1998 Camry with 300, 000 miles and it still runs smooth. If it ever dies I plan to stay with Toyota or treat myself to a Lexus. These cars are simply second to none.

A CD player still there - Gawd bless Lexus.

My number one goal when buying a car is reliability. Lexus has never disappointed me. I'll take the high fuel consumption - even while living in Denmark - as part of the package. Maintenance is cheap, yearly checks are cheap, insurance is relatively cheap. Peugeot did nothing but break down for me and even the so famed Audi and Mercedes kept breaking down or show error lights and always had something broken during the maintenance. List of things that broke on my Lexusses:
End of list.

P.S.
Just have your shit break down in the middle of nowhere in a country you can't speak the language of. Then you will understand how important reliability is.

This is one of the best, most honest, relevant, and useful car reviews I have ever seen that cuts through all the bs. One of the best 15 minutes I have ever spent in my life. Such a pleasure to watch.

I am in my 20's and drive an older ES 350 that I mainly bought for comfort and reliability. In the first few months after I bought it, I was a little self-conscious because it wasn't as "fun" as my friends' German cars. But honestly, I no longer feel that way. Like you said, the NA V6 is such a delight. The technology is very minimal and just what I need, and I'm very happy to see that it hasn't changed years later in the 2022 ES. This car isn't about standing out; it's the exact opposite actually. It's about the DRIVER, about being comfortable and having a best friend that will never fail you. I plan on keeping my ES as a daily driver until the wheels fall out, because unfortunately regulations are ruining the industry, and soon everything budget friendly will have cheap turbo-charged engines.

I just got my 2021 ES hybrid this month… i do like the screen update if this 2022. surprised a review is out so fast. i’m 37 and used to be a hardcore bmw racer hardcore modder, track day bro but i love the solidity refinement and quiet of the ES. i like that it’s the polar opposite of what kids like. call me a grumpy old man. but i’m proud of it

Ive owned over 10 cars and ES was the only one that got me to 100k trouble free miles. Zero nada. Next car is going to be another Lexus(prolly LC500).

The Lexus ES350: Humble and reliable. Dignified luxury in a reasonable sense.

My cheap ass bought an 04 ES330, almost every new car I’ve been in has felt worse and somehow has less basic features. I look like a granny but driving it truly is nice AF…

In Japan I saw a few 100 year olds who died in this behind the wheel, still driving around with rigor mortis set in and the Auto pilot set on 20 mph. You get a whiff of decomposition when they roll past You, staring into nothingness.

The only thing to replace a 1992-1996 Camry/ES300.

this car's best kept secret is that there's a werther's dispenser in the center console.

2015 ES 350 owner here. Have put 50k miles on my car and driven it all over the country. I absolutely love it. Such an amazing, refined piece of machinery.

The ES is a great car, period. Who needs to hustle constantly? And the interior, at least to my eyes, is beautiful. Nice review as always.

The 3.5L V6 is also dual injected. So no port cleaning!

What a refreshingly objective review here, worth watching (as always) even with no real interest in this kind of car.

I showed my mother your video and to your comment about retiring and dying in it she said, “That’s me!” She’s pretty hard core. She subsequently ordered days ago.

South Florida retirees love this car. In fact 4 of the top 10 top selling Lexus dealers are in south Florida. In my parents south Florida retirement community this car is everywhere. In fact my mom is on her 4th ES and once a year my parents take it up and down the East cost of the United States
