The ES is a bargain luxury. It rides, looks and feels much more expensive than its rivals in the same price class.

I had a '20 ES for six months before it was totalled. Tried an S60, but loved the ES too much. Bought a new 22 300h. I'm in heaven with every drive. I love the ES and love the idea of a 350h awd. I'll stick with sedans as long as I can.

Fun fact. The ES is currently outselling the NX is and the 2nd best seller at Lexus. Supply chain issues are wild. It’s also back as the best selling luxury sedan beating out the 3 series and C class. ES and RX are cash cows for the brand and paying Lexus’ light bill 😂

What matters to me is that the car remains reliable, quiet, smooth.

As someone who bought a new '22 ES in May, this is a nice upgrade. It's nice to see them upgrade regularly instead of waiting years to improve their products, even though I just missed out. I am debating if I will bother upgrading. The current used car market is weird so I will actually consider it LOL.

Just bought 2022 ES FSport, absolutely love it, the new screen is fantastic and drives like a dream; just happy I got the naturally aspirated V6 before they get rid of it.

I miss my ES so much! 2008 ultra luxury with 200k miles. Was so reliable, original engine and transmission. All I had to do was 1 alternator, 1 coil pack, and the struts. Everything else was preventative 🙏 sold it and my 99 Camry so I could upgrade to an all wheel drive.

One day I will buy another ES, there is nothing that drives like one. So plush, so stately and luxurious. 🙏❤️

An awd-i option for hybrid models would’ve been perfect and I’m a little surprised they haven’t added that considering how relatively straight forward it is both in terms of engineering and manufacturing. Other than that it’s an absolutely delightful vehicle.

2:00 Yay I happen to like the clock. Its nice to look over and just see the time. A dedicated piece telling you the time only. Its nice. I missed having it in the RX loaner.

Hi Kirk
I am a lexus fan and a es owner. I have been owning a es for the past 3 years, what to say it's just magnificent and smooth car. But the only thing that I miss is AWD because I live in Sweden. I think that lexus should upgrade the es because it's the only sedan that lexus have. I am looking to forward for the 2024 es.

i think Es is one of the best luxury sedan u can get without breaking the budget a lot with great space and comfort, and if it’s production is moving to japan, i would get one .

I bought a 2022 300h in March. I actually love the the touch pad. Very easy to use once you get used to it and no fingerprints on the screen.

Our Lexus RX and ES with V6 engines are more quiet inside the cabin than our Tesla Model Y when on the highway. Lexus makes great cars and the V6 is the best.

Nice Updates for the ES . I wish Lexus would give us a Hybrid AWD ES for 2023. So Sadly the ES FWD only 😕 in Europe, with only the Hybrid available .

why would they make the apple carplay smaller to fit the climate controls on the screen when the ES already has a fantastic climate controls with physical buttons? a bit redundant and a waste of screen space imo @1:53

Good Afternoon, Kirk! I wasn't at the live cast yesterday as you know my opinion on "sales figures", but saw it later, and I wished I could clarify some things and KICK OUT THAT PESKY BOT.

Starting in '25 MY we'll see a Japanese-made version of the ES based on the new Crown Sedan being HSD-exclusive (like the Sienna and Venza) for the powertrains. In this case both the (~ 250hp) NA-2.5L and the T-2.4L "self-charging" HSD combos would be available at launch, with the NA-2.5L Prime HSD coming 6 months - 1 year later.

Audi had 3 screens on several models a few years ago, nowdays the AC one is gone and buttons back, looks like Lexus too saw screens and removing buttons and wheels is not better... Cool video!

I hate how all the cup holders on new Lexus cars are now exposed (which you don’t see on other luxury cars), just seems cheap to me
